What is Camp Beer?
Camp Beer is the ultimate experience for the true or budding "beer nerd." This is lecture series that began in December 2010 and is still growing. Through this series, we help educate people to the wonderful world of craft beer. Each class typically focuses on a particular aspect, style or theme within the craft beer realm. The fee to attend is for the lecture and the food; beer served is free.
Who leads Camp Beer?
Kevin Floyd of The Hay Merchant and Anvil Bar & Refuge is generally on hand to lead our merry band through the history, background and humorous stories about the subject of the lecture.
Camp Beer generally lasts about 3 hours. Attendees are strongly encouraged to eat a hearty meal before attending and to arrange for alternative transportation to and from the lecture. Those in need will be directed to public transportation.
