LIVE IT BIG's CHARITABLE MISSION
Live It BIG is an IRS-certified 501(c)(3) non-profit corportation headquarted in Houston, TX.
We identify small and start-up charities and help them grow by raising money throughout the year. In so doing, Live It Big helps great ideas get off the ground and does so through fun and approachable events.
The Monsters Of Beer Charity Festival opened Houston Beer Week on Saturday, November 12, 2011. Featuring Texas and National breweries, this event was a tremendous success with about 850 people in attendance. We were not able to hit our ultimate goal, but we did raise $5,000 for our charities.
For 2012, we hope to attract more sponsors. If you are a corporation wanting to participate, please contact Cathy Clark Rascoe at cathy@liveitbig.org.
Money raised will go to support our focal charities for 2011, Friday Harbour and Stepping Stones Charter School. Two amazing Houston-based 501(c)(3) organizations making in difference in the lives of Houstonians. Please visit their websites and support these wonderful organizations all year.
